• Who We Are

    Established in 1967, the AASCU Grants Resource Center (GRC) provides comprehensive research and sponsored programs information services designed to make faculty and administrators at member institutions more successful in the pursuit of federal and private funding. 

    Every GRC member institution has access to a team of staff liaisons who serve as an extension of the campus’s pre-award research administration staff and as a link to federal program officers and research administration colleagues throughout the country. Access to direct support and engagement in strategic networking give GRC members a competitive grantseeking advantage.

    The GRC staff holds un-paralleled knowledge of every funding agency of the federal government.

    Direct Support

    Every GRC member is assigned a team of two staff experts who can provide support in identifying funding opportunities, facilitating contact with awardees and program officers, and participating in Washington workshops and meetings on behalf of the campus.


    Members often request assistance in identifying potential funding opportunities for specific project ideas. Training on use of the GrantSearch database and Foundation Directory Online are available to supplement search results and increase the campus community’s search capabilities.
