AASCU Member Institutions Welcome CHEPD 1+2+1 Students 

The Cooperation on Higher Education and Professional Development (CHEPD) has welcomed 250 Chinese students to AASCU member campuses. Twelve AASCU campuses welcomed an additional 160 students in January:

California State University, San Bernardino
George Mason University (Va.)
Murray State University (Ky.)
Northern Arizona University
Salem State University (Mass.)
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
Troy University (Ala.)
University of North Alabama
University of North Carolina at Pembroke
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
University of Wisconsin-Stout

The program coordinators on these U.S. campuses have worked very hard to provide support to all the new students. This has included providing airport pickups, dorm settlement, health (COVID-related) and safety protection, as well as academic advising. The program expects to see more students arriving on U.S. campuses in fall 2022.
