Whether your campus is just
starting to consider decarbonization or has years of climate and sustainability
planning and implementation, joining with other sustainably focused
institutions can help you meet your goals and will increase our institutions’
collective ability to reduce global carbon emissions.
AASCU’s Committee on Sustainable
Development and Second Nature
invite AASCU members to join the Climate
Leadership Network and become a signatory to The
Presidents’ Climate Leadership Commitments.
The opportunity gives
institutions the chance to receive guidance on climate actions, serve as
leaders on the Climate
Leadership Steering Committee, share carbon reduction achievements, and
connect with other signatories to share case studies and best practices.
Signatories also have exclusive opportunities for
funding and in-kind consulting services via the Climate Solutions Acceleration
Fund and Pro
Bono Consulting.
To learn more and hear why
other institutions joined, watch the recorded webinar “Value and Process of Joining the Climate Leadership
Network.” Please email Stephen Muzzy, climate programs senior manager at Second Nature, with any
questions.
