AASCU-EAB Virtual Symposium
Tuesday, January 26, 2021 to Wednesday, January 27, 2021
Virtual
Join AASCU and EAB for a two-part virtual symposium, “Public Higher Education in 2021: Challenges in the Moment and Opportunities for the Future.” It was built exclusively for presidents and their cabinet members about the current and future state of higher education in the midst of a global pandemic, nationwide economic recession, and historic social justice movement.
About the Conference
The symposium will feature insights from EAB's experts,
informed by AASCU's public policy perspectives, on subjects such business
models, the student of the future, and a crisis of confidence—all with a lens
of how the coronavirus pandemic is exacerbating challenges. Other topics
include opportunities for the future of higher education, the customer
experience, cross-disciplinary problem-solving, and recapturing the public good
and lifting our regions.
Sessions will feature interactive components to maximize
opportunities for participants to learn from each other. The event will
also have networking activities and an optional (but highly encouraged)
presidents-only discussion about how the challenges in higher education are
impacting them and their institutions, guided by EAB’s expertise on crisis
thinking and leading through change.
