Constructive Dialogue: Fostering Trust, Curiosity, and
Deeper Learning in the Classroom is an ADP initiative in partnership with
OpenMind focused on providing campus faculty resources and professional development to foster civil discourse and deliberative dialogue within their classrooms and throughout their campuses. Participating faculty will have access to OpenMind’s resources,
attend monthly online cohort meetings with faculty across the country, and are provided a stipend. In addition, the kickoff and concluding meetings will be in person, at a private reception, at CLDE22 and CLDE23, respectively.
How to Participate
We have accepted the first wave of applicants. This application will be open from May 20-June 30 to allow those interested during CLDE a chance to apply. On July 1, we will notify applicants in this second wave. In the fall, we will meet on the second Monday of each month from 12-1 p.m. ET. and on the
second Tuesday of each month from 4-5 p.m. Cohort members can choose the monthly meeting time that best suits their schedule. For complete information, review our call for participation.
