• AASCU Faculty Fluent in Spanish Can Contribute to Argentina-Based Program

With the support of the United States Embassy in Argentina, La Universidad Católica de Santa Fe has launched an Argentina-based program on American StudiesThe program invites AASCU faculty who are fluent in Spanish to give lectures, contribute to discussions, and participate in webinars focused on the U.S. presidential election. Faculty interested in participating in the program should submit this form.

AASCU’s participation in this activity was a direct result of a memorandum of understanding signed in 2017 with the Council of National Universities and the Council of Rectors of Private Universities. The memorandum facilitated internationalization of Argentine institutions through learning about the U.S. higher education system and direct partnerships with AASCU members. AASCU is currently the only U.S.-based higher education organization to have this type of agreement with Argentina.
