As a first-generation college graduate, Daysha Jackson Sanchez is a champion of improving the student experience and eliminating systemic barriers to success. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education administration, she has held leadership positions such as dean of student success and assistant vice chancellor of student affairs, and she has built collaborative communities focused on student success.
Currently, as the vice president of equity solutions at Lumen Learning, Jackson Sanchez leads the development and implementation of an equity-centered design strategy that aims to create inclusive learning environments. She recently spearheaded the development of a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging framework that engages faculty in evidence-based practices that enhance inclusivity.
In addition to her leadership role, Jackson Sanchez is a dedicated educator, serving as an adjunct faculty member and subject matter expert at the University of St. Francis (IN). As a Ph.D. candidate, she is researching the experiences of faculty who participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion professional development.
