Brittany Corde

Brittany Corde is a senior program officer at Ascendium Education Group. She is responsible for strategic grantmaking to advance Ascendium’s Expand Opportunity strategy, and she leads a strategic portfolio aimed at accelerating the implementation of Registered Apprenticeships. She joined the organization in 2023.

Previously, Corde was the Equipping Workers for Success program manager at the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, supporting efforts related to worker voice and power. She also held leadership positions with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and with two colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System: Maysville Community and Technical College and Gateway Community and Technical College.

She earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Northern Kentucky University, with a research emphasis on employment barriers for returning citizens in rural areas. She also earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northern Kentucky University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Louisville.
