Bobbie Anderson currently serves as the vice president for student success and has served Metropolitan State University (MN) since 2012. Anderson has a passion for student success. As vice president, she develops and provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction to the Student Success division. She is responsible for the administration of a comprehensive and holistic approach to support students and their success.
Anderson holds a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis on international business. She also holds an M.A. in organizational management from Concordia University, Saint Paul (MN). Anderson also completed a Master of Public and Nonprofit Administration from Metropolitan State University. She earned her Ph.D. in business management from Capella University (MN). Her dissertation focused on how leadership style affects an employee’s job satisfaction and intent to stay with an organization specific to females in the millennial generation. Anderson continues this work and stays on top of the research as more individuals from Gen Z enter the workforce and retirements continue for the older generations.
