Andy Benoit

Andy Benoit began his career in higher education in 1995 at his alma mater, McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, for what would become a 28-year record of service in the field of enrollment management. Over the span of this career, Benoit has held responsibility for organizational areas including admissions, recruitment, registrar, advising, financial aid, retention programs, orientation, and military and veteran services. His roles have included recruiter, senior recruiter, coordinator, associate director, director, assistant vice president, and service as vice president for enrollment management at Lander University in South Carolina (2016–2019) and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2019–present). He is the current chair of the Texas A&M University System Enrollment Management Council/Community of Practice and is co-chair-elect of the Apply Texas Advisory Council. In addition to his service on and off campus, he has presented at over 35 local, state, regional, and national conferences on topics related to enrollment management, educational leadership, and higher educational opportunities. Benoit has a B.A. in speech communication and an M.Ed. in instructional technology, both from McNeese State University (La.), post-graduate work in human resource education and workforce development from Louisiana State University, and an Ed.D. in educational leadership from Liberty University.
