Shawn Hartman

Shawn Hartman joined Academic Search in November 2014. In his current role as chief operating officer, he has the primary responsibility to oversee the day-to-day operation of Academic Search and supervise all of the searches the organization handles. As part of his broad responsibilities, he has supervised over 900 searches across the country, ensuring that the proper resources are dedicated to each partnership and serving as an additional resource for campuses. Hartman holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a Master of Science in Psychology degree from Springfield College, where his focus was educational psychology and higher education administration. He attained the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Political Science at Methodist University. He is currently working on a Doctor of Education degree from Northeastern University.
