    Accelerating Graduation With Expanded Credit Initiative

    The City University of New York Lehman College

    To make higher education more affordable and support degree completion, this college extended its Credit for Prior Learning initiative to all students, allowing them to earn elective credits through various approved programs. This shift aims to boost graduation rates by addressing issues like unmet liberal arts credit requirements and delayed credit transfers, especially for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
