- Cancellation of Federal Furloughs and Firings: The CR requires the White House and OMB to rehire all federal employees furloughed or fired during the shutdown and prevents further reductions through Jan. 30, 2026.
- President Trump Agrees to Abide by Deal: President Trump has agreed to honor the agreements that led to the CR including programmatic funding levels explicitly set in the legislative text.
- Full-Year Funding for Veterans Administration and Agriculture (including SNAP): Three full-year spending bills were included in the CR, which will fund student veterans and SNAP benefits for the remainder of FY26.
