Amy Bippus

Dr. Bippus is interim provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at Cal State LA. In her current role and her previous position as vice provost, she has led through organizational changes such as the campus’s conversion from quarters to semesters, overhaul of classroom scheduling practices, transition to COVID remote operations and return to campus, expansion of online coursework, and strategizing around graduation and retention efforts. A particular point of pride has been her work with Cal State LA’s Prison Graduation Initiative to offer more degree programs, enhance student services, and increase access to a college degree for more incarcerated Californians.
