Amy Díaz is the chief of staff and a member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet at Indiana University Northwest, a federally designated Hispanic-serving institution (HSI)/minority-serving institution. As part of the executive leadership team, she facilitates effective planning and implementation of strategic initiatives, and enhances collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders. She also currently coordinates and oversees the Office of University Advancement and External Affairs and serves on a variety of campus and institutional committees, including the HSI Committee. Central to her work is a commitment to the inclusion and advancement of underrepresented groups.
Díaz was a 2023–2024 Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities La Academia de Liderazgo/Leadership Academy Fellow and a 2019 Multicultural Leadership Academy Fellow with the Latino Policy Forum. She received her doctorate in leadership and innovation from New York University and her Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University (IL).
