Anastasia Rodriguez

Ms. Anastasia Rodriguez, MBA joined the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) in September 2022 as the Vice President of Administration and Finance. Prior to coming to UMES, she served as the University Controller at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. She has also served as the Director of Internal Audit and Interim Chief Financial Officer for the South Carolina State Housing and Finance Authority in Columbia, South Carolina. Ms. Rodriguez began her career in Higher Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she served in several roles over eleven years growing as an audit, financial management, and grants management leader. Ms. Rodriguez received undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration all from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
