Jeffery L. Osgood

Jeffery L. Osgood serves as provost and executive vice president at West Chester University (WCU) in Pennsylvania. As provost, Osgood is the university’s chief academic officer, providing leadership on a wide range of matters of institutional importance, including operational and strategic planning. Prior to this current role, Osgood served as deputy provost and served as dean of the Honors College.
Osgood’s areas of expertise include local economic development and program evaluation. He previously worked for the Center for Local Governments at Western Kentucky University and co-founded the Center for Social & Economic Policy Research at WCU.
Osgood holds a doctorate in urban and public affairs and a Master of Public Administration. He served as chair of the university’s Curriculum and Academic Policies Council and as faculty associate for the provost and vice president for academic affairs. Additionally, he served a term as vice president of the WCU chapter of the Association of Pennsylvania College and University Faculty. In addition to his duties, Osgood teaches courses in the Public Administration program.
