Kate Hamilton is a senior program manager at the Aspen Institute’s College Excellence Program, where she supports cross-institutional partnerships designed to improve transfer student success. Before joining Aspen, Hamilton spearheaded research-driven faculty development programs at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government (MA) and collaborated on course redesigns for a groundbreaking general education curriculum at Boston University’s Center for Teaching and Learning. Hamilton holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. in literary and cultural studies from Carnegie Mellon University (PA), specializing in 18th-century British literature, and a B.A. in English language and literature from the University of Connecticut.
