Kathleen Scott

Kathleen Scott oversees AASCU’s portfolio of leadership development programs, conferences, and philanthropic and corporate partnerships. Prior to AASCU she served at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) as the director of organizational excellence leading programs designed to nurture a culture of change and innovation and build organizational and individual capacities. Scott’s higher education career includes service at two community colleges with roles in leadership development, advancement, marketing, public relations, enrollment, project and change management, and strategic planning. She is a past member of the board for the Network for Change and Continuous Innovation, recipient of the California Higher Education Collaborative Leader of Change Award, and recipient of the Brent D. Ruben Award. Scott is a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education (MA) and holds a bachelor’s in marketing from Fairfield University (CT) and an MBA from Fresno State.
