Kiersten Wills

Kiersten Wills started with AASCU in November 2022. She previously worked for the Government Relations Department at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, served as a legislative assistant for the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, and worked as a social studies teacher in San Antonio. A native of Central Pennsylvania, Wills is a first-generation graduate and attended the Pennsylvania State University, receiving bachelor’s degrees in political science and history. Her past professional experience centers around advocacy, legislative affairs, community organizing, member engagement, and constituent outreach. Wills is passionate about policy solutions that level the socioeconomic playing field for young people and their communities, including issues focusing on college affordability, workforce pathways, and student mental health. Outside of work, Wills volunteers with Women in Government Relations as an Education Task Force co-chair.
