Lars Söderlund is the chair of the English studies department and associate professor of English at Western Oregon University. His research focuses on the techniques and strategies of academic publication and research, and his co-edited collection Research on Faculty Writing Practices in Rhetoric and Composition is under contract with WAC Clearinghouse. He has taught students at the university level for 18 years and has been nominated for teaching and advising awards at the University of South Carolina, Purdue University (Ind.), and Western Oregon University.
