Latoya Jenkins joined the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) in 2019 as special assistant to the vice president of enrollment management and student experience. Prior to coming to UMES, she led large teams of corporate researchers who operated at the epicenter of the nation’s $17 trillion transaction flow, delivering a full view of the commercial real estate market to keep clients ahead of market demand. Prior to that, Jenkins served over 30,000 students as the director of undergraduate advising at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Currently, she serves as vice president of enrollment management and student experience at UMES, creating and implementing the enrollment strategy while directing the operations of 11 dynamic teams providing high-impact services to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to support the overall enrollment and financial health of the institution.
