Laura Hunter

Laura Hunter leads the value and insights team at Ad Astra, a higher education leader in data-driven decision-making for planning and scheduling. Hunter joined Ad Astra in 2009 and leverages her problem-solving skills and industry knowledge to facilitate the development and delivery of innovative and impactful solutions that help Ad Astra’s institution partners achieve their goals. Hunter strives to provide strategic consulting and data analysis to empower institutions to utilize the course schedule as a strategy for student retention and completion.

Previously, Hunter served in various roles at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Registrar’s Office and Enrollment Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in project management from Western Carolina University (NC).
