Meg Roosevelt is the director of content development at PBS LearningMedia, where she works with PBS producers, stations, and educators to create media-rich digital classroom resources for middle and high school audiences. Roosevelt spends most of her time at PBS working with teachers to bring Ken Burns documentaries and PBS Digital Studios shows into classrooms. Roosevelt’s primary interest at PBS is using PBS programming to engage students in critical media analysis and as media makers. Previously, Roosevelt worked as a graphics researcher at National Geographic Magazine, collaborating with reporters, artists, and cartographers to tell visual stories in infographics and maps. Roosevelt holds a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College (OH).
