Molly Kerby is the assistant provost for institutional effectiveness and the chief diversity officer for academic affairs at Western Kentucky University. Kerby also holds the rank of professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology and serves as a dissertation advisor in the Ed.D. program. She received undergraduate degrees in sociology and environmental science and an M.S. in public health/environmental health at Western Kentucky University, and completed her Ph.D. in higher education administration at the University of Louisville (Ky.). Kerby’s research focuses primarily on theoretical predictive models of community and organizational change, particularly in areas related to higher education; civic engagement; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
