Patrick Dolenc

For more than 30 years, Patrick Dolenc has taught on the faculties of the University of Utah, Antioch University New England (NH), the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Keene State College (NH). As a professor of economics and strong advocate for civic engagement, he has served as chair of Keene State’s Economic and Political Science Department, published several works, and presented and participated in over 30 academic forums. Dolenc took a lead role in establishing the American Democracy Project (ADP) at Keene State to deliver on the college’s role to prepare students as active citizens. Dolenc was the Keene State College Distinguished Teacher of the Year in August 2013 and received the ADP Barbara Burch Award for Faculty Civic Engagement in 2015. Dolenc was the lead scholar for the AASCU Economic Inequality Blended Learning Course and a member of the ADP/TDC (The Democracy Commitment) Economic Inequality Initiative Steering Committee. He currently chairs the Keene State College Senate. He received a B.A. in political science, a B.S. in economics, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Utah.
