Scott Newman

Over the course of his career in higher education, Scott Newman has served as a university professor, assistant dean, dean, provost, and president. He holds master’s degrees and a doctorate from The University of Oklahoma, the University of Oxford, and Oklahoma State University, respectively, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Institute for Educational Management (MA).
Newman has presented and published nationally and internationally on the topic of leadership. His publications include a book that places readers in a diverse range of leadership roles, contexts, and circumstances. In addition, he is a former fellow of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, the American Council on Education, and the Aspen Institute. Newman currently serves as a fellow of the Gardner Institute.
