Siena Fleischer

Siena Fleischer serves as program manager for global engagement at AASCU, where she supports strategic planning and program management across key international initiatives. In this role, she coordinates signature programs such as International Education Week, facilitates communication with member campuses, and strengthens global partnerships.

Fleischer brings more than 20 years of experience in global education and development, including leading cross-regional research initiatives at USAID that engaged a 3,700-member consortium across 86 countries to inform policy and improve research uptake. She has managed multimillion-dollar education portfolios across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and is recognized for her strategic leadership, organizational effectiveness, and inclusive team development.

She is fluent in Spanish and committed to educational access, collaborative leadership, and applying a systems approach to problem-solving. Fleischer holds a master’s degree in gender and development from the University of Sussex’s Institute of Development Studies, and a bachelor’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean studies from McGill University.
