With support from the Lumina Foundation, AASCU is developed a Pulse Survey instrument and toolkit for campus leaders to assess and improve social integration and acceptance on their respective campuses. Six member campuses deployed the survey in Fall 2024. Participating campuses worked with a team of researchers who developed the survey instrument and toolkit. The researchers provided guidance on the process to deploy and respond to the survey, including gaining institutional buy-in, managing campus communications, discussions with faculty, launching the survey, and engaging the community around results and actions for improvement based on the results of the survey. Participating campuses were able to launch the Pulse Survey on its own or integrate into other survey efforts. A report and toolkit for the survey process is available to all members.

Applications are closed.
- Your institution would be able to begin the planning for this project in Spring 2024 and conduct the survey in Fall 2024.
