Andrew Harris has practiced and taught British history at Bridgewater State College since 1997, directed the college’s Honors Program and co-founded its undergraduate research program. He served as Executive Assistant to the President from 2006-2008, was an American Council on Education Fellow at the University of Rhode Island in 2008-2009, and currently serves as Associate Provost where he oversees a range of faculty development programs. His first book focused on crime and policing in London, c. 1780–1840, and he is currently co-authoring a modern British history textbook. He also participated in the Management Development Program at Harvard in 2005 and is an active member in the Council on Undergraduate Research, for which he co-founded and regularly participates in the Social Science and Humanities Institute. He went to Pomona College and Stanford University. |
