Navigating Global Education Opportunities in Japan

Join us for an informative and engaging session in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, where we’ll explore the world of international education opportunities in Japan. Learn about the attractive Japanese government-led Initiatives for your students, including the MEXT scholarship, the JET Program, and the attractiveness of studying and conducting research in Japan. Faculty and administrators will have the opportunity to learn about the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowships for conducting research, attending seminars, or other exchanges in Japan. Facilitating Student Mobility Through Sustainable Funding Models: Scholarship Opportunities for American Students Studying Abroad in China

AASCU, in partnership with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, invites you to join an informative session to explore funded opportunities for your students to study abroad in China. Embassy representatives will provide a detailed overview of scholarships available to students through the faculty-led study abroad program model. Recipients of this funding will also join the session to provide information on their experience with the application process and the innovative ways faculty can design their programs to be successful recipients. AASCU staff will also share information related to professional development opportunities for faculty in China and other scholarship opportunities available to students for short-term and long-term study in China. This will be an interactive session, and we welcome all interested parties to join in the Q&A session that will follow the presentations.
