AASCU’s annual meetings provide participants the opportunity
to engage with topical experts and colleagues in exploring how to be effective
in the new leadership landscape. The meetings also allow attendees to
network and view the latest higher education service offerings.
In 2020, along with exclusive programming for presidents and
chancellors, the meeting also featured several sessions for cabinet members to
attend with their president/chancellor. Each meeting also has special

The conference focused on racial and social justice and on
the importance of voting and civic engagement. The annual meeting also examined
promising practices for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and how to provide
students with a quality education while keeping the campus community safe and
