The AASCU New Presidents Academy is tailored to the distinctive needs of presidents and chancellors who lead state colleges and universities. About the Conference
The program provides practical advice grounded in leadership research and complemented by the knowledge and experience of current and former AASCU presidents who serve as academy faculty.

AASCU's New Presidents Academy is the only program that offers new presidents executive coaching and mentoring throughout the first year to support continued learning and success.
The academy is open to first-time AASCU member and non-member presidents and chancellors appointed after September 2019.

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 New Presidents Academy will include virtual sessions starting in the fall and culminate with a two-day, in-person meeting later this academic year. More details to come.

The registration fee for the 2020 program covers costs; materials; most meals during the 2 ½ -day, in-person program; and a three-night hotel stay. Participants are responsible for paying their own travel.
