Anna Plemons is the associate vice chancellor for academic and student affairs at Washington State University Tri-Cities, where she oversees a host of offices and programs focused on holistic student success. This includes oversight for strategic course scheduling, faculty development, undergraduate research, advising, tutoring, disability services, counseling and wellness, career services, student engagement, basic needs support, and TRIO Student Support Services grants (serving as principal investigator). She is also a tenured faculty member in the Digital Technology and Culture department and maintains a research agenda focused on community-engaged research and practice. Plemons previously taught creative nonfiction in the California prison system and has written about that experience in Beyond Progress in the Prison Classroom (2019).
