Jacob Boucher is the president of the Associated Students of Washington State University Vancouver (ASWSUV) and is currently an undergraduate majoring in psychology with minors in political science and English. He has previously served in ASWSUV at different times as internal director of legislative affairs, senate chair pro-tempore, and senator. Externally, he serves on the board of directors of the Washington Student Association, an advocacy group to advocate for all students of higher education institutions in the state of Washington. Previously, he was the chair of the legislative committee in Washington State University’s Student Government Council. In his various roles, he has worked to help students find and amplify their voices, hosting conversations about relevant political topics, organizing lobbying events for students, and bringing candidates and elected officials to Washington State University Vancouver.
