Dominique Werboff

Dominique Werboff is the founding director of the CCU Arboretum at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in South Carolina. She holds a doctorate in geography from Clark University (MA) and specializes in forest and landscape restoration, political ecology, multi-stakeholder sustainability solutions, nature and well-being, and climate change adaptation and mitigation. Werboff brings together her professional experience as a research scientist, professor, nonprofit founder and executive director, and program director as she leads efforts at CCU to support nature-based learning, environmental wellness, ecological restoration, and sustainability. She also serves as the president of Reforest Our Future, a nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education, reforestation, and community building.
